The aggregated power potential of plug-in vehicles is greater than the electric generating power potential. Roughly 0.2% of the cars sold each year in the U.S.
could produce 1GW of power at a moment’s notice. A small fraction of plug-in vehicle power can be used to maintain stability of grid and provide benefits to all
electric power producers and grid operators.
VLI-EV develops variable load integration systems for
EV's (VLI-EV). Our systems manage multiple plug-in
vehicles, charging units and distributed generation
The VLI-EV system reacts to electrical disturbances
caused by varying load and generation, on individual
circuits or system-wide – many relatively small resources
can be aggregated into a single, large, virtual resource.
